The Pacific Society for Reproductive Health (PSRH) Biennial Conference brings together clinicians, midwives, nurses, programme leaders, policymakers, and partners from across the Pacific to advance reproductive, maternal, newborn and women’s health.
The conference theme “Building and sustaining the Pacific SRH workforce through strengthening regional collaboration” reflects the realities of delivering sexual and reproductive health care in Pacific Island countries. Geographic dispersion, workforce shortages, limited access to training, and exposure to health emergencies place significant pressure on national health systems. Strengthening and retaining a capable SRH workforce requires collaboration across countries, disciplines, and institutions, grounded in Pacific context and prorities.
As a Pacific-led professional society, PSRH provides a long-standing regional platform for shared learning, professional development and collective problem-solving. Through skills-based pre-conference workshops, plenary discussions and country-informed dialogue, the conference supports national SRH priorities and fosters sustainable regional partnership to improve health outcomes for Pacific women, families and communities.
