The Gynaecology Oncology Subcommittee is an initiative of the Pacific Society for Reproductive Health (PSRH) dedicated to improving the prevention, early detection, and treatment of gynaecological cancers in Pacific Island Countries (PICs). Recognising the impact of gynaecological cancers on women’s health, the subcommittee focuses on building capacity, fostering collaboration, and advocating for improved care pathways.
Vision and Objectives
The Gynaecology Oncology Subcommittee is committed to:
- Raising awareness about gynaecological cancers and reducing stigma through education and advocacy.
- Strengthening health systems to improve early detection and access to treatment.
- Supporting healthcare providers with training, mentorship, and resources to enhance care delivery.
