Are You Ready For the Biennial General Meeting?

Alongside our fulsome programme we are also holding this important event on 1 September 2022 at Taumeasina.

This is a very important meeting for financial members of the PSRH, because it is at this meeting that we vote in our next board members (trustees) and our Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President.

Only financial members of the PSRH can vote.

This week please check your inbox for an important email from us containing your current PSRH Membership certificate and/or status, and some important papers that we will need to consider at the BGM.

If you are not attending the BGM but you are a financial member you can still vote by giving your proxy vote to a member who is attending the meeting. Your proxy form will be included in this email for you to complete.

What Do Board Members Do?

We are accepting nominations for President, Vice President (x2) Treasurer from now so please do send all nominations to vicki.erskine@psrh.org.nz

I encourage you to consider these nominations carefully with recognition that these are legal roles with significant responsibilities. You can read more about these responsibilities on this page from the NZ Charities Services where PSRH is registered.

Please consider carefully whether your nominated candidate has time capacity to attend at least 50% of the monthly board meetings, as required by the PSRH Trust Deed.

This is an important juncture in our PSRH voyage as we emerge from COVID-19 and reimagine how SRH services can be provided in the Pacific Region. This is the time that we are working with our regional partners to ensure that we make big strides forward in achieving our SRH goals for our Pacific Women and families. It will be great to welcome you at the BGM; we need your input.

Call for Nominations

We are now calling for nominations for candidates for the vote onto the PSRH Board of Trustees. Please download the nomination form below and follow the email instructions.

If You Cannot Attend

If you are unable to attend the meeting you may fill out a proxy vote form and give it to a person that is attending or give it to the President.  Download the form below.
